I have worked mostly on a book tentatively entitled "Be Sober and Reasonable: The Critique of 'Enthusiasm' in the Seventeenth and Early Eighteenth Centuries". I also participated in the research nucleus "Europe and the Dutch Republic: Evolution, Elaboration and Diffusion of Toleration in the 17th and 18th Centuries". In connection with this group, I am writing a paper on the topic "The Limits of Toleration: The debate concerning the toleration of enthusiasts following Shaftesbury's Letter Concerning Enthusiasm."
