Translator-in-Residence
The Translator-in-Residence programme is a joint venture of NIAS and the Dutch Foundation for Literature ('Nederlands Letterenfonds') in Amsterdam. The position of Translator-in-Residence is intended for translators who translate from any foreign language to Dutch. Translators at NIAS will benefit from the scholarly environment at NIAS, especially as a linguistic community usually resides at the institute.
Invitations are extended by NIAS on the advice of the Nederlands Letterenfonds.
This fellowship is offered to one translator for a five-month period either from 1 September until 31 January, or from 1 February until 30 June.
